Powerful Person:Germany

For an activity(or task), you would be tasked to choose a powerful person from your country you chose at the beggining of the journey. You would had to chosen one individual person. I chose Joachim Gauck. He is the Current President of Germany since 2012.

Hi Pote,

I think that you have made a good choice for your 'powerful person.' Can you tell us a little bit about him? For example, does he have any children? It would be great to learn a bit more about him and about his life (his biography).

It would also be great to see you post some more blogs for the programme before it finishes up tomorrow (Tuesday 26 January). If you're keen to earn more points and be in to win cool prizes please log onto the Summer Learning Journey site, complete any of the 14 days' worth of activities and post a blog.

I'll check back in tomorrow to see if you've posted anything new. I hope that you're able to re-join our journey before it comes to an end!

Cheers,
Rachel

P.S. Please disregard my comments from above. Sorry, Pote! When I first loaded your site the information didn't appear but it know has and I am able to read all about Joachim Guack. Thanks for making such a great looking presentation. I particularly like the colours that you chose!

Cheers,
Rachel

Kia ora Pote☺

The Summer Learning Journey programme has now come to an end. Thank you so much for being involved this summer!

Over the next few months I plan to review the programme. As part of the review process I am hoping to gather feedback from participants, just like you! To tell me what you think please log onto the Summer Learning Journey website and click on the ‘Feedback’ tab. It will take you to a short online form. Can you please fill it out? It should only take about 5 minutes. I’d love to hear what you think!

I will also be coming into your school in a few weeks to hand out participation certificates. I am really looking forward to seeing you then!

Thanks again for joining our Summer Learning Journey this year. I really hope that you join our holiday blogging programme again next summer.

Cheers!

Rachel
