Thanks for taking the time to research Germany and to post some interesting facts for us! Can I please confirm that the current flag was first used after World War 1 and then stopped before World War 2 (rather than World War 1)? Was that a simple typo? I would hate to start sharing the facts with others, in case I didn't have it right!
I am definitely planning to share this information with my family tonight. We often get home and chat with each other about our day and I know have some really cool things to share with them about Germany :)
As I previously blogged, I am seriously considering a trip to Germany in the next year but the 32 hour flight does put me a off a little bit. That is a long, long time to be in an airplane, isn't it? I would need to bring a lot of books, magazines and videos to keep me entertained. Fortunately, they often have videos pre-loaded onto the TV sets that are on the airplane. I can remember traveling years ago when the airplanes had one TV screen at the front of the plane and everyone had to watch the same movie. Now everyone has their own headset and their own screen. We have come a long way in a short period of time!
If you were on a 32 hour flight what would you choose to watch on the inflight system? Do you have a favourite movie or television show?
