Rockets

Today,  LS2 had their second full day at Tamaki College to create Rockets. Mr Dunn and Mrs Ferguson made sure we had created our rockets and launch it into the air.  Most of us had finished our rockets and waiting to launch it but some people ( Like me, I needed to finish off my rocket and many other people).   Almost every group Rocket launched into the sky, with the help of Mr Dunn's drone, we captured footage of the rocket launched with the help of camera's we got most of the photos/videos we needed. One of the key points of the day was Sajiha's group rocket which flew high into the sky to never be seen ( Its familiar to what happened to Carrot). Thank you to Mr Dunn and Mrs Ferguson for creating such a magnificent 2 days of Rockets.

Trip to Tahuna Torea Reserve:

Yesterday,  the Senior school went to the Tahuna Torea  Reserve. Last year, we unfortunately didn't have our school picnic due to terrible weather condition. Luckily, with the money we had already put in for the trip. We used that money to go to the Tahuna Torea Reserve in Glendowie. Room 5, LS1 and LS2 spent 2 hours at the reserve learning about the Godwit/Kuaka's habitat. Thank you to Mrs Anderson, Mr Ogilvie, Mrs Kirkpatrick and everyone who had fun!

Olympic New Zealand Logo

Today, I have finished my logo for the Olympics if it came to New Zealand ( specifically Auckland or Wellington). This design is a marae with many different colors. Half the colors represent the Olympic ring  while almost all of it except one, those colors represent a quarter of the Rainbow flag which represents the LGBT + Community to New Zealand with open hands ( Marae represents open eyes).
