Summer Learning Journey:

Summer Learning Journey

On Tuesday, my school will be finished ( But that doesn't mean I can start this amazing journey). If you have not been here since the beginning of 2016 or the Term 2 holidays. This Journey usually  takes 2-4 weeks. I'm participating in this event as prepares me for the future but also makes my mind train it self ( I know it does not make sense).  My goal this time, is to make sure I post up everyday but also comment on 10 blogs ( As well).

Kia ora Pote,

Congratulations on finishing school for the year! I hope you enjoyed it and made lots of friends. Do you have any plans for your summer holidays? Thank you so much for joining the Summer Learning Journey programme. We're all super excited to have you on board over the next four weeks. I think it's really important to set goals like you have, that way we can keep on track and stay motivated :-)

My name is Dan and I'm working alongside Rachel and Mark over the summer. I'm lucky enough to be able to read your blogs and I'll be leaving comments as I go. If you want to reply to my comments then please do! I'd love to know what you think, or if you have any questions, feel free to ask away.

You've already shown such a great start to your Summer Learning Journey, keep up the amazing work!

Cheers,
Dan.

Morena Pote,
My name is Tania and I am a Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitator - I work in lots of different schools with teachers and learners who, like you, are using chromebooks for their learning and blogs to share their learning. I have been emailing with Rachel and she has told me all about The Summer Learning Journey. I have started checking out some of the blogs and can't believe that some students, like you, have already been working so hard! I really like how you have set yourself good goals to achieve as part of The Summer Learning Journey. You are right that it prepares you for the future, setting goals and working independently are really good things for going to University, doing an apprenticeship or working. Have fun training your mind and sharing your learning about Japan.
