Summer Learning Journey: Bullfighting

Bullfighting 2 reasons:

I personally think Bullfighting should stop because of these two reasons.

Reason 1:
Bullfighting has injured or even more worse, caused deaths. You may like the entertainment but for what cost. We might lose nothing but the matadors might.

Reason 2:
The Matadors put their life on the line. Bulfighting are a risky sport. Matador could inspire young kids to do this sport. Worst case scenario: A young child try to fight a bull, bad things could happen to the kid.

Hello Pote, I also agree that bullfighting should be banned. We both have similar reasons why bullfighting should stop. Keep up the great work.

Hi Pote, these are really great reasons of why bull fighting should stop and I too agree that this tradition should be stopped. Which tradition do you think in New Zealand should be banned?

Hey Pote
I also agree with you. Why should animals die just for peoples entertainment. Keep blogging!

Hi everyone!

These are all great comments and questions you have for Pote. I think it's awesome how you are all getting involved on each others blogs and giving feedback!

I agree with you too Pote, I think bullfighting should be banned. I like how you have outlined your reasons and explained why you think it should be banned so clearly.

You're exactly right, bullfighting is a very risky sport. It's highly dangerous for the matadors, and I'm impressed that you have thought of how their actions could influence others younger than them - good thinking! Many people look up to their sporting heroes, so if they are doing these kinds of things then what sort of message is that sending? On top of all that, it is extremely cruel to the bulls and often they don't survive the fight.

Cheska that is a great question you've asked! It's a good way to help us reflect on our our culture here in New Zealand. Can you guys think of any 'traditions' in New Zealand that you think should stop?

Great work team!

Dan.
