Hi Pote,
You have told us quite a bit about Valerie Adams, including some really interesting information about her experience in the London Olympics in 2012. It's true that she originally earned a silver medal but was later awarded a gold when the original first place finisher tested positive for drug use. Apparently a similar thing has happened this year pre-Olympics and one of Valerie's strongest competitors has been disqualified from attending the games because she tested positive for drug use. Yikes!
Thanks for raising such an interesting point, Pote. Performance enhancing drug us is a frequent issue at the Olympics. Hopefully people won't take the drugs ('dope') this year.
Cheers, Rachel :)
