My poem

Recount Connectivess

Nana and Papa lived in the countryside. Nana disliked living in the countryside, so she headed over to visit us in the city. Later, she didn't want to return home after she came to our house. Papa had to go home alone, and fetch her the next day. Papa chatted to mum and they decided to let Nana stay in the city. They soon sold their old countryside house and came to live with us. It took very long to settle in, but it was worth it. I was really glad that they came to live with us.

Today Room 6 and I were learning how to use time connectives( or Recount)in our recounts. We used our social(Group we sit with) groups to do this activity.

Onomatopeia

“Splish!,”I fell down the mighty Rock wall at Panmure Bridge School, so when I was  8 years old  and starting my 4th year at school, I had always came early but then something would happen pretty quick. My brother and I decided to wrestle on the climbing wall.  Imagine this, “you are falling down to the ground like those buildings in Christchurch, 2011. Then you hear a weird kinda crunch as if you are eating a Toblerone. Some minutes later: you wake up and start crying as like a 1 year old kid falling to the ground and crying.

I woke up in the sickbay crying and soaking my eyes with tears. Beside me was my brother who was the person who pushed me off the climbing wall who walked out the room after the fall and believe me, you will not want to be me during this fall because man it hurt so badly almost everyone on the park saw me falling. Falling is fun except if you were me, I was in love with people who flew in the air in music videos and games. I thought it would be fake. Soon after the incident  I finally figured that you’re allowed to jump except from falling.

Okay, now the worst thing would've happened is that me landing on my arms because I would of have been a bear being tranquilized and walking around like I never seen earth in my life! So I guess I am lucky  never to fall right onto my arms because I will head straight home and say to my mum, call the hospital instead of  staying at school because “I ain’t got time for that,” like honestly why was I up there to wrestle in the first place why  because it was really tall.

Well it was the first time I was actually embarrassed in my first 4 years as a P.B.S student,  I would’ve  have my face be  hit by a soccer ball or get my head hit into a wall than free-falling, but besides at least all of the events  I mentioned did happened and the pain I actually felt it and it was not cool follow my words! How did this  happened I do not know. The only thing I do know is falling down couple of feet.

3D hand art

Okay so today I made a 3D hand art, here is some tips on how to make one.
Step 1: Draw the the outlines of your hand( except Nails). this important so you can see  the hand when finished.
Step 2: Draw lines and curves. Drawing lines and curves are crucial so it can gives perfect touch and also  make space when you want you two colours or more.
Step 3: Colour in. Colouring make it looks bright( I recommend a dark and bright colour to do this Hand art) also it helps to see the hand more better.
Step 4: Shading: The last step is what makes this hand look 3D, shading help gives it the cool effect for this hand.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism   means stealing someone work and not changing the words and finishing quick.
Plagiarism  to me means you are lazy to really actually finish the job and want to do stuff you want to do when your finish when you're not.

Reference mean you use a popular  source of information to put into like( Example: He used Pop culture References during this movie).

References are pretty good when you want to show something from a famous phrase to a speech. So when you write a story you can these references in your story hidden.

Maths Artwork

Maths Artwork

So on the first day of school we worked on artwork on circles. We used Compasses(Not the ones you use when you're lost), pencil, ruler and an 10x10 centimeter square. Well making curved quarter circles are pretty hard. To colour in your circle you had to draw something that reflects yourself.By the end drawing and coluring the circle they will look so good.

I'm a Year 7?

A new day, a new year and a new Class.

Do you know that feeling that you feel older and nervous as like a new kid.  Since New years have gone I wondered what class would I be in or who would be my teacher? But since school started, I don't really know what will happen during these weeks i wonder what will  happen this year. I guess i will find out.
