Rhythm Interactive


Monday was a very energetic day. The Entire school ( It was split into their block, Seniors & Juniors). We all met the Rhythm Interactive group ( We met Lucy and John). We were all captivated by their great drumming skills. Sebastian & I created a DLO to showcase our learning about the rhythm Interactive.

How to Be Cybersafe:



Today, I've finished my first Gold Task for CARE Awards. I completed my Confidence task. My goal for my  Gold Care Awards is to complete 1-2 badges  this term ( as it is the last term of the Year).

Touch Rugby:


Today, A group of Year 7 & 8 were doing Kiwisport. This terms Kiwi sport for the first 4-5 week is Touch Rugby. Our instructor was Trevor. We had  a large amount of relearning and played a game of Pass the ball.  We all had fun and we used our teamwork to complete the first games ( Relearning).

Hydration in Schools


Today, AJ & I were working on a DLO to showcase Hydration, Dehydration and Water in Schools.  We used photos we found suitable for this DLO but also labeled for Reuse.

Forces of Flight

Today, LS2 was split into its two year group for Inquiry. The Years 8 worked on the four forces of flight. They need to be balanced to fly for long periods of time.

Year 8 Graduation Dance Practice

Today, the year 8's had their first dance practice. Our instructors name was Sonja and she taught us the rock and roll basics and turns and the Cha-Cha Basics. We practice in pairs while the girls changed partners. I had a very happy time at Dance.

Basketball:

On Wednesday, the two PBS Basketball team had their last game of basketball  (I'm just assuming). The Year 5&6 Team played against Saint Patrick but sadly lost 8-2. It was great to see the teamwork and sportsmanship by the entire team. However, the  Year 7&8 Team played against Glen Taylor White and won 18-14. The Glen Taylor team played great and was close to winning until 4 fast points gave PBS the momentum. Thank you to Mrs Prasad, Mr Ogilvie and the RSA for providing transport
