Tech:

Today at Tech, my group were continuing phase 1 in the artwork. We still have a week to complete the artwork. I hope that the image will be added in the weekend.

Point of View

Today,  Sylis & I were working hard on DLO representing the 2 different views from 2 sides. In this case, Sylis became Bob(the bus driver) & I became the Bus owner. Since this was a strike, Bob/Sylis became very supportive of the strike. This meant that we had use provocation for the character. In real life, there are always two sides, sometimes against or not. You need to choose by making choice with discussion. This is called Informed Choice.

Current Events:Auckland Bus Strikes

Today, Manu & I started working on a DLO about the recent Auckland Bus Strikes. We used our skim & scan skill to find the valuable information & add it to our DLO. We also added a Point Of View for the two groups involved in this Bus Strike. This work taught us the to find various sources in add it to a our DLO but also making sure that it's in our own words.

New Zealand Land Wars

In the weekends, I(Pote) started working on project I've recently had interest in completing. I started working on the New Zealand Wars as its one of the few wars which happened in New Zealand. It was not known by the public for a long time.

The Lost Thing

Today, LS2(with Mrs Kirkpatrick assistance) read a book a sophisticated picture book. The plot of this story was a boy finding a lost thing. The boy ask for advice about this weird object. His family & random people never cared about the Lost thing. We created comparison from the pages in the book which had tpo world look dull & the ending pages of what the lost thing now resided in.

Stephen Hawking

2 Week ago, I started working on a DLO about a  famous physics. This person was Stephen Hawking. I used my knowledge & reference about Stephen Hawking ranging from book to movies. This was one of the harder DLO I've done in Term 1.

Tech

Today, LS2 continued the daily routine of Tech. The group I was in learned to created artwork with shading. We also got to choose cultural references and shade it to our liking. Our minimum(of images) were two. Over the two weeks, we are hoping to complete our masterpiece.
